if you need prescription sunglasses for driving, should you get regular ones for just walking around?

I finally got prescription sunglasses, which i need for distance, driving etc. But if I’m outside reading or just walking around shopping or something, should I get normal ones so I don’t use the prescription when it isn’t needed?

why wouldn’t you use them when you are outside? They should be used anytime you’re outside in bright conditions.

If you don’t wear bifocals, you don’t need 2 pair. Just take off the prescription one when you aren’t driving. If you do wear bifocals, get them put into your prescription sunglasses. When I buy a new pair of glasses I have my old ones made into sunglasses so I have the bifocal in them.
