What are the frames called when you want prescription sunglasses?

my doctor told me the name of them, but i forgot. I know it started with optic… but then i can’t remember the rest of the word. what i would like to do is buy the sunglass frames from someplace else so i can get my prescription filled. I just can’t remember whats the name of the frames that are used for prescription sunglasses. thanks.

    If you are purchasing them from some place OTHER than a doctor’s office or other retail optical, you want to find frames that are ophthalmic quality. Some of them will say “Rx’able” on the tag or on the demo lenses.
