My friend just gifted me a very nice pair of sunglasses. The frame’s side has a small metal clip decoration (logo) that I want to remove. There is some paint there as well that I also want to get rid of. Is there any way to do this without damaging the sunglasses badly?

This one is kind of tough. For the decoration you could try a razor. Flat or lockblade. For these pins, your only real option is to use a Dremel tool with a tiny bit. Come to think of it, you could use the Dremel to grind down the decal rather than drilling it out. Then paint over with fingernail polish. Another option is to go to an optrician and sometimes they can remove that stuff quickly. If it looks tough they’ll tell you no because they’ll damage the glasses. If you use the Dremel be sure to use a vice with a soft cloth so your work doesn’t go flying. If you don’t have a Dremel, consider getting yourself one because they have thousands of uses for tiny stuff. No I don’t work for Dremel. I’m just a DIYer.
